In 1994, Ta Tang obtained authorization from DuPont to use their trademark on gardening tools, attesting to significant quality guarantee. This led to an expansion of Ta Tang's market and an increase in sales. To satisfy increasing sales orders, Ta Tang moved to Linkou, entering the era of automation and semi-automation.
In 1991, Ta Tang focused on mold prototypes and corrosion resistance and chemical resistance treatments for the petrochemical industry. In 1987, Ta Tang added services to include nonstick treatments for baking equipment and small household appliances. In 1994, Ta Tang mass-processed wear-resistant lubrication for gardening tools. In 1998, Ta Tang diversified into automatic machinery and automotive industries. In the following years, Ta Tang expanded its collaboration into 3C electronics and medical industries.
Ta Tang’s business flourished in Taiwan over the years. In 1990, Mr. Ming-Chi Lee established Ta Tang's first overseas factory in the suburbs of Bangkok, Thailand, named "Ta Tang Special Coating Co., Ltd." in consideration of the overall business environment. All core technologies from Taiwan were transferred to this factory in 2023.
