Generally speaking, Teflon® is a safe and stable compound. However, at temperatures above 260°C/500°F , Teflon® coatings on nonstick cookware start to break down, releasing toxic chemicals into the air. Inhaling these fumes may lead to polymer fume fever, also known as the Teflon flu.

Is Teflon® coating only available in black?
No. Most of the Teflon® products in the market are black due to vendor requirement. Ta Tang can customize based on the client's needs and product types. Ta Tang currently can offer, and not limited to, pearl white, rose gold, matte copper, pearl emerald green, lake blue.

How long does it usually take for the products to be completed after it is sent to the factory for processing?
Ta Tang strives to meet the Client's timeline expectation as outlined in the executed contract. Due to the variety of products and customization requests, each project varies in timeline.

Can all materials be coated with Teflon®?
Not all materials can withstand high-temperature baking. Therefore, Ta Tang will evaluate your products thoroughly before accepting your order. Currently Ta Tang processes metal as well as ceramics, stones, and glass products.
